Idre North Park Apartments

In union with the hotel building, the four apartment buildings form an internal park space, while opening up to the landscape and vast views on the opposite sides. The apartment buildings relate to the adjacent hotel both in terms of design and materials, framing and highlighting the hotel as the center piece of the site.

Constructed in cross-laminated wood, the buildings are characterized by a clear geometry with cantilevering balconies and green gable roofs. The facades are clad with a black-dyed wooden panel that is used both horizontally and vertically, to reinforce the reading of the volume and its structure.

In collaboration with Kjellander Sjöberg.
